ABSTRACT

The covid 19 immediate impact has intensely changed global trends. At the same time, the impact covid 19 has exhilarated research interest among researchers worldwide. In Malaysia, the Movement Control Order (MCO) and travel restrictions enforced by the Malaysian Government in March 2020 have significantly hit Malaysian daily life. Therefore, understanding the topic of interest and broadening collaboration networks is critically important to advance research development. This bibliometric study examines the Covid-19 research trends in Malaysia based on publication output, prominent journals, prominent authors, affiliated countries, and author co-occurrences. Utilizing the Scopus database, 1776 articles were identified and extracted from 2020 until 2021. The result has shown that the number of articles related to Covid 19 in Malaysia significantly increased in 2021, resulting in higher cumulative total publications. Most Covid 19 research publications in Malaysia collaborated with the United Kingdom, Pakistan, and United States. The bibliometric literature in this study have declared that digital technologies have the potential to fulfill customized requirements of COVID-19 pandemic. Thinking about advance technologies and its benefits, this study is going to provide a through literature about the application of advance technologies in real-time. Despite of that, this study also mapped the literature based on topic of interest to understand the benefits and application of these technologies in different areas including pure technology, sustainability, education, tourism, psychology, food and agriculture, and the economy. © 2023,International Journal of Interactive Mobile Technologies. ABSTRACT

ViSA which stands for Virtual Students' Activities was the alternative activities conducted online in UniKL Royal College of Medicine Perak (UniKL-RCMP) as to replace the normal face-to-face activities due to the pandemic Covid-19 Movement Control Order. In UniKL, all students' activities are the students' characters building programme to fulfil the six critical domains of student development, namely, Spiritual, Physical, Intellectual, Career, Emotional and Social aspects of the individual students or short formed as SPICES. Throughout the two-week time provided, 14 online activities;three for the Spiritual domain, two for the Physical domain, two for the Intellectual domain, two for the Career domain, three for the Emotional domain and finally, two for the Social domain had successfully been organized and conducted. Posters were created and disseminated as to promote the whole programme and each scheduled activity. The poster was also meant to provide the online platform application session code. At the end of each activity done, participants were required to click a provided link to an online form as to record their participations for their GHOCS point claim later. As a result, this programme was a success, as a total of almost 2K students participated in the scheduled activities. © 2022 Author(s).

ABSTRACT

In the wake of the unprecedented global pandemic of Covid-19, most businesses are pressing on sustaining their business continuity as they are forced to create rigorous emergency plans to limit the impact of COVID-19. The focal point of this paper is to provide constructive reviews on the potential shifts in organisational culture and its interrelationship with dynamic marketing capabilities as a result of the digital acceleration brought by the pandemic crisis. The resource-based theory is utilised as a foundation to better understand the interrelationships between organisational culture (OC) and dynamic marketing capabilities (DMC). From this critical review, a conceptual framework was developed to grasp of the linkages between OC and DMC. The originality of this paper’s conceptual framework suggests that organisations must enhance their flexibility to obtain competitive advantage and to keep up with the rapid acceleration of the digital transformation. Organisational culture is an essential set of guidelines that contribute to the organisation's cultural network. The combination resource-based and R-A theories emphasised the relevance of intangible talents, such as human abilities, as key components of supporting dynamic marketing capabilities. Organisational culture must support employees’ spiritual development to have valued and rare workers, which can strengthen the organisational dynamic marketing capabilities and strategies. The paper’s critical reviews may be of assistance to organisations in adapting and developing a dynamic work environment in the midst of the pandemic’s rapidly approaching digital era. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

ABSTRACT

The spread of the Covid-19 pandemic has essentially led to the closure of many businesses worldwide. With the increasing number of viruses in every part of the world, there is a need for flexible work arrangements to maintain the operations. Somehow, managing workloads using these arrangements have also affected work-family conflict during a pandemic situation. Plus, there is a dearth in the literature of flexible work arrangements in the context of work-family conflict. Thus, the purposes of this review are to investigate how these factors are related to work interference with family (WIF), and family-interference with work (FIW), and its outcomes, such as work-life balance, well-being, mental health, turnover intentions, satisfaction, and others. The reviewed articles were obtained from three main databases;Web of Science, Scopus, and Science Direct from the year 2000 until 2020. Keywords including "flexibility work arrangement," "flexible," "work arrangement," “schedule flexibility,” “work hours,” “schedule,” "work-family conflict,” “family-work conflict,” “work interference with family” and “family interference with work” were managed to identify 31 articles. Also, this systematic review was conducted to collect the findings on the relationship of the above domains, which can be used by businesses to adapt to the new normal. Several recommendations were proposed to conduct further study, especially in research design, method, and measurements. © 2021 Karadeniz Technical University. All rights reserved.

ABSTRACT

Unlike the common stress, higher level of strains is a more serious issue since it can strongly affect one's psychological state and behavioural actions. Among these stressors include the workplace stressors which were constantly associated with job dissatisfaction, mental stress and cardiovascular health. The P-E fit theory alluded that the mismatch between the individual and the environment may result in psychological strains, consequently affecting the individual's wellbeing physically and mentally. Hence, psychological strain is regarded as an influential factor on the state of employees' wellbeing. This study aims to investigate the mediating effect of psychological strain on the relationship between Person-Job Fit (PJF) and employees' wellbeing (WB). This cross-sectional study was conducted among employees of participating banks in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Self-reported questionnaires were distributed via an online survey in the first few months of 2020 as part of data collection. The SEM analysis involving the measurement model, structural model and mediation analysis was conducted through PLS-SEM. The finding reveals that the psychological strain has a full, indirect mediating effect on the relationship between the PJF and WB, implying that it is an appropriate mechanism in explaining this relationship. This study sets a new direction for future studies by highlighting the role of psychological strain in predicting health outcomes besides providing the theoretical groundwork for occupational stress research using the P-E fit theory. © 2020 Ubiquity Press.
